Item Detail

Inochi is all about combining and transforming!

At EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, the Inochi Ball serves as the symbol of the Signature Pavilion “いのちめぐる冒険 (LIVE EARTH JOURNEY)”, produced by director Shoji Kawamori.

The material used is solid Japanese cypress (hinoki) sourced from thinning, a forest management practice essential for nurturing healthy woodlands. By utilizing thinned wood, this item contributes to:

  • Supporting the creation of forests where trees can grow strong and healthy
  • Helping restore forests with high CO₂ absorption capacity
  • Making effective use of resources that would otherwise be discarded

This makes it an environmentally friendly piece.

Warm to the touch with a light, natural texture, it’s perfect as an accent on bags, hats, or jackets.

This special pin badge lets you enjoy the worldview of inochi meguru bouken up close.

Please note: the actual color may vary slightly depending on lighting conditions and your viewing environment.
